What can I expect regarding safety?
The Parade Committee is committed to everyone having an enjoyable experience. A big part of having a great time is to ensure that everyone remains safe. With this in mind… safety is the Parade Committee’s number one priority.
The Parade Committee and all involved will do what we can regarding creating a safe parade environment but we all need to play a part.It is essential that you appoint people within your group who will watch out for your team members, especially if you have children participating. Keep in mind it will be dark and there will be people & vehicles moving about from parade setup to completion.Additional safety measures will be discussed at participant orientation.
I have a food donation for the parade! Where should I hand it in?
If at all possible.... please use the food donation barrels rather than handing your food donation to the Mayor & Council or the Salvation Army vehicle, as doing so can slow down the procession. Thank you!
