The need for supporting our community is greater than ever! Please help us reach our goal of collecting 1000 cans or non perishable items for the Chilliwack Food Bank. Look for a Salvation Army barrel along the parade route to leave your donation of food. If at all possible.... please use the barrels rather than handing your food donation to the Mayor & Council or the Salvation Army vehicle, as doing so can slow down the procession. Thank you!
This year, we ask that all spectators please dispose of your garbage appropriately. There will be some garbage containers in the main areas of downtown along the parade route for your convenience! In the event you are not close to a garbage can, we please ask you to help keep our wonderful streets of Chilliwack clean and take your garbage home with you, thank you in advance!
For your convenience toilets are located in the following areas:
1. At the Post Office on the corner of Nowell and Yale
2. The Portland Lou plus two other portable toilets between Young & Mill Street
3. Central Community Park
4. At the Court House on Yale behind the clock tower
All these facilities will be open for several hours to accommodate guests of the parade.
